Gerstell Academy seeks Part-time Choral Director for the 2021-2022 academic year

Gerstell Academy is a private, co-educational, non-sectarian, college preparatory leadership school based on a value system that is defined by the Gerstell Academy Mission, Motto, and Leadership Principles and Attributes. Gerstell Academy is seeking an inspiring, engaging, and encouraging Part-Time Choral Director for the 2021-2022 academic year, with leadership experience and the capacity to direct middle and upper school Chorus (grades 7 through 12).  Duties will include teaching the Gerstell Academy Mission, Motto, Principles and Attributes, teaching, curriculum mapping, and prior teaching experience.  The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, piano skills, and have prior teaching experience, and certification is preferred.  The desired candidate will be able to teach Choral Music as an academic course, and as a vehicle to teach leadership education, critical thinking skills, and character development.
