Dr. Edryn J. Coleman is currently the choral director at Oakland Mills High School in Howard County, Maryland. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of choral music education and choral conducting, respectively. Having taught music at every age level from kindergarten to college, and with numerous guest conducting and professional presentation opportunities, Dr. Coleman understands how to connect with learners of all ages. A native of Montgomery, AL he holds a BA in voice from Stillman College, an MME from Florida State University, and the DMA from the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music at Shenandoah University. Dr. Coleman’s greatest joy is teaching choral music and shares this quote with his students “You'll never work a day in your life if you do what you love each day!”
